At the online AAD conference this year, one of the presentations looked at 99 different prospective studies on acne scarring treatment and saw that subcision was found to have a mean improvement in acne scar appearance of 61.4%, followed by medium to deep chemical peels at 53.3% and ablative lasers at 49.5%.
