Nodular acne—one of the most severe and stubborn types. 😣 It develops when pores get clogged deep beneath the skin, trapping oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells. Hormones, genetics, and inflammation can also play a big role.

The bad news? It won’t go away on its own. The good news? There are effective treatments! ✨

I often recommend retinoids (like tretinoin & adapalene) to prevent clogged pores, benzoyl peroxide to fight bacteria, and for more persistent cases, treatments like spironolactone, oral antibiotics, or even Accutane.🧴
