Use a targeted active body wash (like Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid) in the shower and let it sit on the skin for 1–2 minutes before rinsing. Follow up with a leave-on active cream or serum.
📌What is the best product for body acne?
It depends on the type of acne. For red, inflamed bumps, a Benzoyl Peroxide wash can help. For clogged pores, blackheads, and rough texture, look for a Salicylic Acid (BHA) wash.
📌Does sweat cause body acne?
Sweat itself doesn’t cause acne, but leaving sweaty clothes on creates a breeding ground for bacteria and yeast. Friction from tight gym clothes traps this sweat, leading to breakouts. Always rinse off as soon as possible after sweating!
📌What is fungal acne on the body, and how do you treat it?
Fungal acne looks like small, uniform, very itchy bumps, usually on the chest or back. Because it’s caused by yeast rather than bacteria, normal acne treatments may not work. It responds best to anti-fungal ingredients (like Ketoconazole).
